Note-breaking problem, again (3.3RC)

• Oct 15, 2019 - 15:26

OS: macOS 10.15, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.3.0.23833, revision: d3bff12

I'm not making this up, nor is it "random variation in note intensity". In m 7 the red G# in the soprano gets played as two quarter notes, with a very distinct, deep, unmistakable break between them. The Soprano and Alto are soloed; if the alto is silenced, it doesn't fail. I deleted the note and re-created it. No improvement.

The score was first created in MS2.

See if you can duplicate this (enclosed).

I made a properly-muted MP3, and listened to both very carefully, and now I'm not sure any more; I trust you both and Audacity, and thanks again for spending the time. It must be an auditory illusion, a "Yanny vs. Laurel" unique to my aging ears .... thanks both again, anyway.
