Suggestion: In Menu 'Add': change F in R to go to Insert/Append Frames

• Nov 5, 2019 - 23:51

OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64,
version (64-bit): 3.3.0.8737,revision: 4761df6

Maybe it's been brough up before but I could not find it in the Issue Tracker.
Go to Menu 'Add' with Alt + A.
Press F to go to Insert/Append Frames.
Result: F note is added to the score, even with nothing selected.
Suggestion: Use R Instead of F and underline the R in Menu 'Add'.
Pressing R while in the Menu doesn't repeat a range selection if any.

Though it's unconventional, you must keep the alt key pressed to use it to navigate the menu. In otherwords, don't release the alt key between alt-a and alt-f.

Thank you for this piece of information.
But still: it's even more unconventional because the single press of O, I, U, M T and L brings you the submenu's.
In File: R works. In Edit P, in View O and T, In Format: Stretch demands Alt+S, the other exception.
In Tools: T, V and M all work. In Help: O, T, A, Q, M and U all work with a single press.
I suggest maintaining consitency here and changing the two exceptions in keys which allow a single press.
