Thank you. I just thought there was an industry standard. When I look through old hymnals the lyric font looks all the same, sometimes very small or larger but the same font. I suspect this is because the actual engraving letters were made by a particular company.

With for easier reading of small text, serif type fonts are used.
"Garamond" and "Baskerville" (and maybe "Georgia") fonts may be useful.

Or just stay with FreeSerif
