Print Fret Board Diagrams Without Staff Visable
I've added a set amount of bars and attached a Fretboard Diagram to each bar, as I could not add a Diagram without a staff to attach it too. I've set all bars to invisible including time signature & clef. I was hoping to use this method to create a chord chart of all the main open chords for the guitar.
Is there a way to print the diagrams without the staff?

The gray items will not print, so you should be good to go.

My eyes are quite bad. The barlines and staves looked gray. Right click the staff, choose staff/part properties and check Invisible staves and uncheck show barlines.

Great, that did it! Instead, I was previously selecting the bars and using the key command V (visible) to hide them, however they still still printed...
Your method seems to be a better one.

For the record, staff lines aren't selectable at all, so no amount of pressing V will ever affect them. And while barlines can be selected individually, they aren't included in a range selection - only the "musical" content.
