conductor score measure width
Hi. I have a Big Band and after adjusting the individual parts to look the way I want, I notice the conductor score has several pages of only 1 measure on the page. I have tried to reduce the measure using Shift - brace but it doesn't respond . (.png and musescore file attached.) Any help loved. thanks

Thanks so much! This is a feature unexplored by me so far. Does it default to 4?

No, at least not in any new scores you create. Only the empty demo score that opens when you start start MuseScore defaults to four bars per line. But in any new scores you create, system breaks are added only when you add them, using the palette, Enter key, or Tools / Add/Remove System Breaks.
