Can't Get Rid of Instrument Name
I have a one-instrument score. Electric guitar, with notation & tab staves. I have Format->Style->Score->Hide Instrument Name If There Is Only 1 Instrument selected (checked). The instrument name ("Electric Guitar") is still being displayed.
Is MuseScore interpreting the two staves as two instruments? How do I turn off displaying of "Electric Guitar"?

Whether you have one instrument with two staves or two instruments of one staff each depends on how you set it up. You can see if you go to Edit / Instruments. But in any case, you can delete instruments by clicking them and pressing Delete. You'll need to delete both the long name that displays on the first system and the short name that displays on subsequent systems.

Thanks, Marc. Your descriptions are spot-on. I had the guitar defined as 2 instruments. I see now how to define 1 instrument, 2 staves. Also, delete names if I want to. Thanks.
