In performance when a tie across a bar line, the notes either side are played separately.
Also any accidental is not preserved.

If you are talking about the ties between measure 80 and 81: those are slurs, not ties Same between measure 7 and 8 and between 38 and 39 abd 43 to 44 and 52 to 53 and 55 to 56. Same for the one between measure 2 and 3, it also are different pitches there, G# and G
If you want ties, use ties, not slurs
That is a slur, not a tie. They are different! A tie is created by typing "+" at the first note (the second must already have the accidental, and it will be removed when the tie is added).
Actually there are some ties too in the score.

I looked at the very first one. There should almost be a second-level FAQ (not as important as "I can't hear anything") for super-common errors like this, and "how do I get rid of those rests", etc.

This happens to people so often "Ties don't seem to work!", that it should be in the FAQ, I think.
