Need help adding lyrics for a third verse
There is a song I'm making a lead sheet for and on the third verse, it moves differently for one measure. On the lead sheet that was sent to me, this whole third verse is on another page but I want to simplify it all down to one sheet of paper.
The song is in 3/4 and this one measure has a quarter note, dotted quarter, and an eighth. On the third verse, this same measure has a quarter, quarter, eighth, eighth.
Is there a way I can keep have this reflect without making a whole other page?

Make the notes to be the latter sequence and tie the middle ones, then make the tie dotted or dashed and on the first 2 verse use a melisma underscore

Is you speakin' English? (As southern an accent as I can muster)
Not sure what a "melisma" underscore is. I'm intrigued though. How does one do this?

It is supposed to be English indeed, possibly with a German accent ;-), and with just one small typo, corrected now.
Between you and Shoichi, I got it. Thank you guys!
