Some questions
I want to rewrite the 1943 revision of Sacrificial Dance but in Boosey and Hawkes Style... cause why not... so I was watching the 1967 revision and it had some things that I don't know how to write in musescore:
1. in the first picture you can see number of the instruments (1 and 2 i think)... I want to write them in that way but I don't know how.
2. Any way to change only one page's staff distance? ( And generally change things and apply only in certain pages )
3. In the second sent picture you can see the huge number inside a square... this is not the exact number of the measure but just ... I don't know how it's called... So is there a way to iplement a number like that? (like not the actual one) and how can I put it in a square?

Fast response... thank you but... (I'll get to the point in the end)
1. I will probably have to do it in every part in every page... kinda troubling i think
2. I think it must be the same case as the above ^
3. oh ok
So... maybe I should suggest featuring something much faster... like when opening the style you can select with pages to edit. It probably has been suggested before I suppose.

Probably not as easy as you think, still worth a feature request.

For 1. You can get close by editing the long and short instrument names to be two line entries.
Like this:
The results look like this:

I should have shown a bigger clip of the results to see more than the first system. Here is what you get for systems 1 and 2. Further systems look like 2.
You will see that I added insttrument numbers to the short name only for the flute and not for the oboe oboe (my error, but is does show you how versatile this can be.)

LOL WTF this is an epic solution but not as perfect as i wanted it XD

Closer?
In the instrument name boxes I had
1
[NAME] 4 x [space]
2
Then reduced the font size to 8pt in Format>Style>Text Styles> Long Instrument name & Short Instrument name.

Thank you for giving this solution... but how did you make the letters smaller? Maybe in mine they are bigger because There are many instruments... It should look like this by the way:

Adjust it from the Format>Style>Text Style menu like this:
You might get better results by using a different font. But that opens a whole new can of worms!

Alright. Thank you for advising! But I guess I won't open that can
I got another question! Sorry for that late coming up but for some reason the original score has two tempo markings: One above violins and one above piccolos... ( I don't know why ) So I tried adding a second marking while having selected the first measure if the violins but it spawned it above the top part (as default) and when i tried moving it down it would move all the other parts down too... Anyway I can spawn it correctly where i want it?

Tempo text applies to the system and as such to (above) the top staff.
Here you could copy it from the Piccolo and paste it into a staff text for the Violin

Got another one: Do you think developers would be in for a change in the sounds of SOME instruments? I can specify what new sounds could sound like in contrast with the present ones. I'm asking this cause it would be a waste if I got to features and wrote a whole article xD

Those are the 128 sound that are available. MuseScore has many more instruments, so maps them at best as it can.

Pull Request, proposed code change. So it (mute for trombones, using muted trumpet sound) is available in the latest development builds and will be in the 3.5 release. Once using that you'd need to 'change' instrument, from trombone to trombone, to get the new instrument definition, then add the mute text
