Staff / Part properties cannot be open if there is only one instrument
Staff / Part properties https://musescore.org/en/handbook/staff-part-properties is assumed to be opened by right-clicking the name of the instrument, but this cannot be done in a score with only one instrument since the name of the instrument is not displayed if only one instrument.
Can the properties window be open with another way? Or is this a bug to be fixed?

Right click into the staff, just as the handbook says. It doesn't mention right clicking onto the instrument name

This was not the case for me.
For a staff with two or more instruments, I tried right-clicking everywhere in the staff, but nowhere except the name of the instrument showed the menu "Staff / Part properties".
Thus, for a staff with only one instrument, there was no way to show the menu "Staff / Part properties".
OS: Windows 10 (10.0)
Arch.: x86_64

Sorry, but this is just plain wrong. I'm using the very same version and right-click onto (an empty spot of) a staff brings up a dialog that has en entry for Staff / Part properties, it works that way ever since and I wasn't even aware that right-clicking onto the instrument name gets you to that dialog too.
But you can show the instrument name too: untick Format > Style > Score > Hide instrument name if there is only 1 instrument

For our information, let me attach the menu when I right-click an empty part of a staff on my computer. Only "Style", "Page settings" and "Load Style" are appeared.
The way to "untick Format > Style > Score > Hide instrument name if there is only 1 instrument" worked fine for me. Thanks so much.

Then you're not right-clicking into the staff, but outside it

Ah, I finally understood.
I had to right-click a part of staff "without any notes or other symbols".

Yes basically into an empty part of the staff (but some other spots work too, like notehead or rest)
