Transpose
Hi . I used the transpose box to move whole piece up from Bb to B. the final chorus rises from B to C . The piece rose absolutely fine but the Last chorus shows CxMajor and this also the same x marks on other notes. it still plays correctly as CMaj. can I correct this without rewriting the chorus. Terry

Can you post the score as an attachment, or at least attach a png image of the part of the score that's giving you problems? That will make it easier to advise you.
Aren't the x marks displayed when the Use double sharps and flat option is chosen at the bottom of the Musescore: Transpose dialog box? Choose Use single sharps and flat instead?
Thanks for both replies. I have sorted it out by raising the problem sections semi tone and then lowering it a semitone . The double sharp then disappears . In future I will make sure the transpose box is correctly ticked. Terry
