can't add song title: bug?

hey everybody

I recently started to use this lovely little software and I have a little question

I can't add the title on my score . I click in the right spot...the menu appears ... I choose Title ... but nothing happens

I restarted MS .. I did the same and it worked ... then I opened another file (midi) and it didn't work again...

donnow if it's a bug or if I'm missing something .. even tho', before posting, I read the manual carefully...

ideas?

Can you give exact steps to reproduce ?
What I did, and I can't reproduce, using MuseScore 1.0 on macosx 10.5

Open MuseScore, mien is setup to display the demo song
File -> New
Create a flute score
Create -> Text -> Title

I was importing a midi file to transcribe the melody
so I just dragged the file into MS
I actually managed to do it later on.. but MS seems to be kinda super slow sometimes... like if I want to highlight a bar to copy it... I click and the blue square appears after like 12 secs or so ... at very first glance it seems that nothing happened or I wasn't doin the right procedure and it was driving me crazy a bit lol

it looks like this ... but keep in mind I've been using MS since yesterday ... altho it's a strange behaviour anyway

Does the slow behavior describe happen every time on that score? Does it happen in other scores to, like ones created from scratch as opposed to by importing a MIDi file? I'm guessing that both problems you are seeing probably relate to the MIDI import.
