Dear MuseScore Team,

I am an amateur clarinettist who finds himself contiuously in the position of never having a piano accompanist to play the piano part of so much beautiful clarinet music with me. There are MIDIs available, but it needs to have the clarinet part suppressed so I could play that myself. Furthermore, I needed a clarinet part for my favourite gospel (& numerous classical) MIDIs so I could form a much needed 'one-man-band' at my church. I have limited Finale experience (one month, until the demo expired) and found that with that limited experience I was able to find my way around MuseScore fairly quickly. Within about an hour an a half I was able to import a gospel MIDI-file and create a new part for the Bb-clarinet and, with a simple copy&paste action, was able to transfer the melody line from another part to that of the clarinet and virtually with a press of the button was able to transpose it to the right key.

This gives me exactly what I wanted. And all this for free!
