Triplet Notes Frustration

• Apr 28, 2011 - 02:17

I am using triplet notes for one instrument in a piece and I find it very frustrating that I have to go to notes, find tuplets, and then have to use triplet notes and sometimes it doesn't give me what I want. I will have to repeat this process a million times if I continue doing this. Does anybody know a shortcut that will allow me to use triplet notes in the same fashion as quarter and eighth notes? Maybe for other tuplets?
Operating system: Windows XP (this is a very old version)
Version of Musescore: 1.0

To enter a 3 eight notes tuplet, select a rest, press 5 (for quarter note), press Ctrl + 3 (to split it in 3 part), musescore switch to 8 notes, enter the 3 eight notes for example C, D, E.
Replace Ctrl + 3 by Ctrl + 5 for a quintuplet for example. See Tuplet
