I've written a drum method book using Musescore (fantastic program might I add!). One problem...

When writing the exercises, I wasn't thinking about the flow of the book. Consequently, I have pages that are out of order. The pages don't need to be edited in any way, just moved (i.e. page 1 needs to become page 5, etc). Surely there's a way to do this without copy/paste? I lose some of my edited info when I do it that way. Is there a simple page move feature?

There is no "page move" other than copy/paste. Hopefully over time copy/paste with include more and more information. In the mean time I suppose you could change the page order after you print it out.

Yea...that's what I was afraid of. Would definitely have laid things out differently if I'd have known 4 months ago when I started this. I would love to see this modification. The program has been great, but being involved with a project that's somewhat extensive (over a hundred pages), having a page move option would be a great time saver. I'll just export it to pdf and then import that into a pdf editor, although I haven't had the best of luck with those recognizing the files and formatting them completely as they are in the Musescore file. Also, word wrap would be a great addition as well.

Also, another small annoyance I encountered...and please know, this is after working in the program for HOURS...I love the majority of what M.S. does...It seems that if you start a file in a certain page style, say A4, and then mid project convert it to another page style (say "letter"), it won't export as a pdf. I've tried "save as copy", renaming the file, and just about everything else. It simply exports as a blank sheet of paper. The only thing that works is taking the file back to it's original format and then exporting it as a pdf. Seems like a strange quirk to me and didn't figure out what was going on until yesterday. I even tried dumping the program and re-installing it, but to no avail.

All of that being said, I've been MORE than happy with the software...I even gave it a hard plug at a clinic I did at the University of South Carolina a couple of months ago. Keep up the great work...and the software updates!

Thanks so much for the response!

That's strange, I've had that problem from day one. I use 1.0 Revision:3996 on a Macbook Pro (2009). I've even reset the computer to factory settings (for a bug it got) and when I re-loaded MuseScore it still wouldn't export to pdf if I changed it. Weird.

As for your answer on word wrap...I understand how to type in a horizontal/vertical box, but once you get to the end of the line you have to press "Enter" instead of it automatically "wrapping" to the next line via the current page settings. Again, I readily admit this could be something I'm missing, but I do exactly as you laid out and the results are the same. No word wrap, I'm forced to push "enter" at the end of each line.

Has anyone else had problems exporting as a pdf?
