Unable to edit some staff properties when type is "Tab" - nightly R4595
I first noticed some options in the staff properties settings had no effect if the staff type is "Tab" when creating a linked staff but have confirmed the same behaviour for a new file with a single tablature only.
Of the 4 options set using check boxes at the top of the dialog only "Show Clef" appears to work as (I) expected.
"Show Barlines" and "Show Time Sign." remain set as selected after closing and re-opening the dialog but appear to have no effect on the appearance of the tablature. In fact the default settings according to the appearance of the dialog is 'off' (for Guitar (Modern)) but they both show in the tablature when that staff type is first chosen.
The option "Stemless" cannot be saved. Selecting it and clicking "OK" has no effect. If the dialog is re-opened the option is back to a deselected state. Choosing the "None" radio button in the "Note Values" section changes the "Stemless" setting and in this case it is saved. Should the linking of these two options not be bi-directional? Or is the "Stemless" option just redundant?
Comments
I forgot to mention my OS.
Mac OS X 10.6.7
Updated because I realised I had probably miscategorised the report.
Also changed the version number after checking nothing has changed in R4483.
Behaviour has now changed (partially fixed).
"Show Clef" and "Show Time Signature" now work as expected.
"Stemless" reflects the actual setting but cannot be manually changed and saved. Changing the "Shown as" setting in "Note values" changes the setting of the checkbox to match on saving. I still wonder if this checkbox is redundant?
"Show barlines" still seems to have no effect.
All issues are fixed since long, except the "Show barlines" option, which does not work in ANY staff type (so, it is not an issue with TAB's).
I'm closing this issue. Perhaps, it may be worth opening a specific issue for the "Show barlines" option.

Thanks Miwarre but, I will leave it up to you whether or not you feel it worth creating a separate ticket for the remaining item. As support for OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard has been dropped I can't use MuseScore any more.
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
