Add space between staves as necesary for lines/spanners, e.g. hairpins, ottava

I noticed that when using certain features-- dynamics, articulations/ornaments-- the measure expands as necessary to fit the extra features. This doesn't work, however, for lines-- crescendo, 8va, etc.

Is it possible for this to be included in the MuseScore 3.0 update?
