Question about invisiblilty
I don't know what to call it, I don't know if it really has a name, but in scores like Rite Of Spring when only the instruments playing on the page is showing. Is there a way to do that on Musescore? I know I can hide a measure but I can't hide the instrument name or anything left of the stave. so it doesn't look as clustered?

Yes. Put all the instrument in your scores and then put the music. When you are done go to Style -> Edit general style-> Score -> Hide Empty Staves
