Custom tuplets and dotted rests/notes

I am trying to get an eleven tuplet with a dotted half note rest (I even tried it with a dotted half note), but the amount of rests - or note and the rest being rests for starting with a dotted half note instead of a dotted half rest- is three times the amount needed, at thirty three. Even trying the dotted half rest/note with a ten tuplet comes out with too many rests, albeit not as many. I tried making an eleven tuplet with a dotted quarter and even a dotted whole note rest and note, with the same result. Nine and six tuplets come out just fine with a dotted half rest/note, presumably since they are not custom tuplets. Would there be some way to get the eleven tuplet (and other custom tuplets) to get the correct amount of rests for dotted rests/notes?
