Crescendo and decrescendo not working
Hey there :)
I noticed today that my crescendo and decrescendo lines aren't working in my score. While they appear on the score and position themselves properly, they don't work during playback, which is odd because I have the latest version of software, and they worked before. I checked for updates (there are none as of now) and have no idea what to do. Help!

Hard to say without seeing the MSCZ that's giving you problems. Maybe check https://musescore.org/en/handbook/hairpin#hairpin-playback again?
Playback is not implemented for a single note - that is, there is no way to have a single note get louder or softer. That just isn't supported the way we use MIDI right now.
Also, the default playback of crescendo and diminuendo depends on having dynamics makings before and after to tell MuseScore what you want the start and end dynamic to be. If these are the same, or backwards (eg, crescendo from ff to pp) then nothing will happen.
If that doesn't help, please attach the specific score you are having problems with and describe exactly where you are having difficulty.
