Too many tails!
I am trying to write something which uses four parts in a chord. Having entered the notes and reversed the stems on voices 2 and 4 I find that I have four tails on the quaver notes, making it look like hemidemisemiquavers! How can I get rid of these and make it just the one tail?

Use the chord's horizontal Offset in inspecto`? Hide the flags, again via inspector?
If it's a chord, you should not use more than one voice. Just stack them up in voice 1, either by clicking on the staff or holding down [Shift] as you enter each note with the keyboard.

There are time when more than one voice is necessary, for example for tied notes.
