1. open the score //musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/issues/11bugs.mscz
2. File->Parts
3. Select trumpet part at left, hit Create
4. View the generated trumpet part

Result: the volta appears to cover the entire four measure rest
Expect result: the multimeasure rest should probably have been broken automatically, but given that it wasn't, I'd exepct to see the volta not displayed at all, I guess
Workaround: manually set the option to break the multimeasure rest on measures that begin a volta

If not for the strange result on the generated part, I might call this a feature request rather than a bug, but either way, it really should work.

Comments

Just a note that while everything about Parts has changed in 2.0, this does appear to work as expected now: voltas do cause a break in multimeasure rests.

However, the volta is *only* exported to the part containing the top staff. Othert parts get the break in the multmeasure rest where the volta should be, but no volta. This is as reported here: http://musescore.org/en/node/12367. I am leaving this issue closed but updating it just to include the link to the related issue in case it turns out to be useful down the road.
