Gridlines
It's hard to believe that a simple program like Paint has a feature that an advanced program like MuseScore doesn't offer. Unfortunately, I'm forced to save my MuseScore documents in .png format, open them in paint, then use the gridlines there to align the various texts that I want to be located on various parts of the page. This is such a tedious process and it would be easier (and also very much appreciated) if the programmers could work in a gridlines option into the MuseScore.

I do not think has had development though.
There should almost never be need to align texts manually - that's what the various style settings and the Inspector are for. Any time you are moving some smallish set of elements individually, you should instead use the Inspector to move them together. There are also the snap to grid functions in the Inspector. Or, use keybaord nudging to make the adjustments consistent. Any time you are moving *all* elements of a given type, you should instead be modifying the relevant style setting.
So if you take advantage of these more automatic capabilities, you should virtually never be dragging things and aigning them by eye, grid or no grid. If you think you are encountering some case where this is still necessary, please psot the score you are having trouble with and where the problem is.
