Hello,

There is the possibility align object on a grid for Articulations/Ornaments, crescendo, text, dynamics...

Maybe align object with other.
Exemple:
multiselect different object an
- align to the grip, most rigth, left, bottom or top object (usefull for dynamic accros staves or artications)
- Resize to the bigger object (width or heigth usefull for crescendo and descrescendo or lines accross staves)

Thank's

Robert

I haven't used it yet, but from what I can see, you separate the display of the red X and Y alignment lines depending on drag context. Wouldn't it be easier to have both lines enabled all the time as you can shift between horizontal and vertical adjustments (ctrl or shift drag) or free drag very easily?

Element are not free drag in all case. Have an horizontal line for adjust size of hairpin is not necessary. Vertical line to adjust beam it's not interesting.

But when hairpin diagonal is allowed, you have the two line, Vertical and horizontal. Look at this animation.
I think it's better to have this feature context dependant.
If you have en example for having the choice for the lines enabled, can you explain me more?

For now, i limit this to all kind of musescore line (element who have grips), not text. Because i don't know if this feature will be included in musescore or no. Maybe developper have other ideas for align element and this proposal will be rejected.

In this example:

I wish there was a way to automatically align articulations. Vertical alignment makes sense for both flageolet marks and string indicators (roman numerals).
