Notes with two stems, others with no stem bug

• Aug 21, 2016 - 00:31

i just noticed that some quarter notes in my composition are shown with two stems while another quarter note in the same bar is shown with no stem.

Both stems are upward stems and sit side-by side on the note. One of them is in the normal spot to the right of the note and the second one comes up right from the very center of the note.

The other bugggy note in the bar just has no stem even though it is a quarter note.

It seems as if the stem from the first note somehow glitched out and moved over.

This is very confusing to read for my band mates, and I have no idea what causes this bug.

It's easy enough to fix, as deleting the notes and re-entering them fixes it but it is still pretty bothersome and worthy of a bug fix.

PS, the piece is in 15/8, that is not a bug.

Thank you,
Samuel

What seems likely is that you accidentally move the stem - they *can* be positioned independently by selecting them and then using the Inspector (assuming you are on at least 2.0, which judging from your screen shot you might not be).
