When adding chordsymbols, some of them are not 'converted'
Hi,
When adding chord-symbols, for example 'Bb' is automatically converted to the symbol in attachment 1.
For chord-symbols like G7, or Fism, this is not done.
Is this a bug, or not implemented, or 'by design'?
Is it possible to make adding Chordsymbols 'intelligent', and automatically convert symbols like G7 and Fism to the right ones?
Thanks

Why do you think G7 is not converted? Or Fism? What do you think to be wrong about them?
Enter 'g7' and 'fism' (lowercase) and you should notice that it gets converted to G7 and Fism, so MuseScore does detect them.
If you really want Fism, enter F#m and change to German chord symbols in https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting#style-edit-gene…
If you want the 7 of the G7 to be in superscript, change to Jazz style in that dialog
But indeed it seems Jazz style is broken in the latest nightly build
Actually, what seems to be happening is that no changes to the style in the dialog are taking effect; scores alredy created using the Jazz style work fine for me.
But that's a separate issue from what was originally being described here, and I too do not inderstand the original issue. I don't see any obvious problem with the G7, and the only issue with the Fism is that if you don't have the German option selected, the "is" won't be recognized correctly, so it parses as "F ism" rather than "Fis m". This is not a bug, though - it's the expected reuslt not selecting the German option. For the OP - what makes you think there is a problem here? Can you post a sample scoreand steps to reproduce some sort of issue?
Hi!
What i was thinking, entering G7 (or Fism) will result in this:
So, the '7' and the 'm' are in superscript. That's what i mean....
Thanks

This is not how it works, except as noted if you use the Jazz style. The standard style uses more simple formatting.
