Extending measures (Urgent please help)
I have finished my piece and I pressed (M) to connect all of my rests. But i need them to extend to fill in the whole first line of the music. I saw where you can extend them up and down but i can not find a way to make them stretch out from lift to right.

Typing "M" toggles (on/off) the multi-measure rest function, and will turn a series of whole measure rests into a single, 'H-bar' multi-measure rest with a number above it indicating the number of measures of rest.

like the bar line can be moved to reach the measures below it or above it. but when i convert them like what you're showing, it condenses them to about the length of two measures... when i need it to be a whole lot bigger. Big enough to fill in the whole first top line of my score sheet.

Drag a hard line break to the measure after the multi-measure rest, and it will spread laterally to fill the rest of that system. F9>Breaks and Spacers>[first icon]
