space between note & measure end
The space between last note of a measure and measure barline seems to have a mind of its own. The attached has way too much in meas 1 & 2, but in any case, it is not uniform across measures.
Is there a setting to make it
a) uniform
b) control its size
I can't seem to find it.
I don't want to use inspector on last note of every measure - uggh.

The minimum space between the last note of a measure and the barline is controlled in Style / General / Measure. However, it's not constant because that would not be correct notation - there is *supposed* to be more space after a half note than an eighth note, etc. The default spacing obeys standard engraving principles and you shouldn't override it without special reason. But if you have to, indeed, the Inspector is the way to go.
