How can I use 1st stand sounds during Playback?

• Oct 1, 2016 - 14:37

I need to find a way to use not only a solo part in any kind of playback, but a 1st stand playback. As you all don't know what 1st stand means, it means that the 1st two people in each section of the orchestra are playing the solo or 1st stand part of a piece.

For Example, my Suite in B Minor. As you take a look at the attachment really closely, you will see that some text in each part says Solo / 1st Stand. I can only use the solo strings and there's no way I can use 2 different violins, Cellos, etc at the same time for this piece. The only kind of Soundfont that kind of sounds like 1st stand instruments is the arachno soundfont. If a real orchestra is playing this, they will decide what to choose when they want to use solos or 1st stands. Like in a string orchestra arrangement of the beginning of a piece called "Elsa's procession to the cathedral, which starts out as a string quartet or 1st stand. In the recording, it starts out as a string quartet and "NOT" 1st stand because the orchestra decides to pick the Solo parts. Here's the link to give you an idea. http://www.jwpepper.com/Elsa%27s-Procession-to-the-Cathedral/10366801.i…

If you have any results and answers on how to use 1st stand playback in any kind of piece, please comment below.

But anyways, Enjoy.

If you like the sounds in Arachno for this, then just use that - add an Instrumetn Change element at ther required spot, and then use the mixer to change to the Arachno version of the sound.
