In macOS, F11 and F12 are assigned by the system, making MuseScore's shortcuts for those keys inoperable. Could the keyboard shortcuts for those keys (Play Panel and Navigator) be modified for macOS only to use the Option key as well?

For consistency, these could also be modified on Windows and Linux to become Alt+F11 and Alt+F12.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I was already doing that. Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 are still system-assigned.

I remember this from before, too. It's possible these assignments are leftover from an upgrade from an earlier OS version (such as Snow Leopard). I don't think they are assigned by default on fresh installations. At any rate, you can clear them out in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Mission Control.

I reset my keyboard shortcuts yesterday (macOS Sierra 10.12), so they do still seem to be assigned.

If I understand correctly, I think I have this problem too.

I noticed with Mixer, for example (assigned to F10)

Using MuseScore 2.1 nightly build 4a34643 - Mac 10.11.6

Unless I'm mistaken, there's not much point to this, because if I go into MuseScore's Preferences and change the shortcuts to Option+F10 (for example), then I simply have to press Fn+Option+F10. No way around it.
