Compiling error Version 1.1

• Nov 11, 2011 - 22:45

Hi

I have trouble compiling musescore 1.1 on my OpenSuse 11.4.

I have all dependencies installed and follow the install instructions that come with the sources.

At 94% I get the following error:
========================

[ 94%] Building CXX object scriptgen/qtbindings/gui/CMakeFiles/qtscript_gui.dir/qtscriptshell_QDropEvent.cpp.o
[ 94%] Building CXX object scriptgen/qtbindings/gui/CMakeFiles/qtscript_gui.dir/qtscriptshell_QDrag.cpp.o
Linking CXX shared library libqtscript_gui.so ( this line is in red )
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/juergen/Downloads/Musik/mscore-1.1/build'
[ 94%] Built target qtscript_gui
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/juergen/Downloads/Musik/mscore-1.1/build'
make[1]: *** [all] Fehler 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/juergen/Downloads/Musik/mscore-1.1/build'
make: *** [release] Fehler 2
========================

But this libqtscript_gui.so is available on my system

locate libqtscript_gui.so
===================
/usr/lib64/qt4/plugins/script/libqtscript_gui.so
/usr/lib64/qt4/plugins/script/libqtscript_gui.so.1
/usr/lib64/qt4/plugins/script/libqtscript_gui.so.1.0
/usr/lib64/qt4/plugins/script/libqtscript_gui.so.1.0.0

What is this error ( here in german called "Fehler" ) about ?

Juergen

Sorry for the trouble.
I don't know what was wrong at my first try to install musescore via RPM ( I use OpenSuse 11.4 ). At that time I couldn't find musescore in the repositories I had access to.
So I tried it with compiling and failed.

But yesterday I found musescore in my repositories and installed it successfully. It works and, it's great.

So, QUESTION.

How do we proceed? I would say I close this thread

AND

If anyone is interested I can try to compile musescore nonetheless and report the problems I find.

I've had this same problem and haven't been able to fix it myself.

I can compile 0.9.3 fine, but when trying to compile 1.1, as downloaded from the download page, I get the error. I haven't yet tried downloading a nightly to see if that fixed the problem though.

I am currently using lubuntu 11.10 and gcc (don't recall the version, most likely current as I installed the os in the last couple of weeks.)
