Playback will only swing, not play straight time
I have a partial score for a cha-cha and I have selected the "swing" to be off for the score under the General Settings, however when I try to play the score it still introduces swing in the playback. I have tried changing it several different ways and times but always the playback is unaffected.
Normally I wouldn't mind, but for this song it really gets in the way of the creative process.
Anybody have a clue what's gone wrong?

I had used the "swing" text element at the beginning and renamed it Cha-cha and edited the system swing settings to "off" but that did nothing to change the swing on playback. The only solution was to completely delete the text element. Now I have a straight playback.
It seems that it is not possible to edit that text element as far as playback is concerned.

My guess is you changed the staff text property incorrectly, but we would indeed need you to attach the score in order to see what went wrong. It's also possible there is a second invisible text there, or really any number of other possibilities.
