File cannot be read?
A score I have been working on for QUITE some time, and I am being payed for, has suddenly decided not to work for me. I'm incredibly distressed as, while I have no deadline, I feel I have to get it done within some timeframe. I have older versions of the file, but they haven't been updated in quite some time. Is there a way to fix the error that says "Cannot read file" ? JustifiedAgain.mscz

Hmm, something seems quite odd about this file - it's a valid archive, but it doesn't contain an MSCX file. Seems like somehow an archive program remvoed the MSCX file from the archive; were you perchance trying to edit it manually?
Anyhow, be sure to check the backup file, which will show the state of the score the last time you started an editing session that resulted in a modification. See for example https://musescore.org/en/node/52116

Thank you for pointing out the existence of backup files! I had always wondered what those second files were.
