How to know which cled am I?

While I'm traversing the score in my plug-in, there is any way I can know which clef I'm in?
I looked at the documentation but didn't find it.

I couldn't find a way either. So in my Salsh Notation styles plugin, I used a dialog so the user could specify that himself. Awkward, but it's the only way I could find. Of course, you could set a default based on whether most notes were above or below middle C. Depending on the types of scores you expect to work with, you might be able to guess based on the staff name or something else that is available.
