Donation Options
Hi
I was wondering if I paid for the $49.00 a year subscription to musescore pro cloud service would those funds be used in the same way as if I donated $49.00. Also, are the funds generated in musescore pro accounts counted as donations?
If so, maybe there should be an option for those who donate more than $49.00 a year to get the musescore pro cloud service as a THANK YOU! and as an intensive for people to donate at least this amount.
Last year I made a $50.00 donation and after I seen the pro cloud service was offered for $49.00 a year I was kinda kicking myself for not going that route.
Someone please clarify.

The funds coming into the donation campaign on musescore.org are being used entirely to sustain the hosting and maintenance costs of the musescore.org server.
The funds coming from the musescore.com pro accounts are used to pay for the hosting & maintenance costs, and they fund the future development of the complete MuseScore project. Currently there are three people on the payroll of the MuseScore company: Werner, Nicolas and myself.
We leave it up to you to choose where you want to spend your money on.
