8va and 8vb affect the entire system
As illustrated in the attached files, 8va and 8vb lines appear to act on the entire system rather than just the staves they are attached too. This manifest itself in both the playback and the .mid file the score produces.

Yes, that occurred to me after I went out of the house this morning.
It's 0.9.4 on both XP and Vista.
This is a known bug in version 0.9.4 or earlier. It is already fixed for the prereleases for the next version of MuseScor

The prerelease I tried crashed immediately so there's no way for me to check.
By the way, the previous bug report only spoke of 8va line. Is the bug with 8vb also fixed?

8vb also works correctly.
Could to give details about the crash. Which prerelease were you using? When precisely did it crash? Which changes have you made to Edit > Preferences when you were using 0.9.4?
