Does MusicXML contain information about the Mixer?
I just wondered if MusicXML is able to carry information about settings - such as drumset, volume, pan, reverb and chorus.

I don't think so. MusicXML specification is available at : http://www.recordare.com/musicxml/specification/dtd

If there are suggestions for software-agnostic ways to represent reverb and chorus effects, please let us know for a future MusicXML release.

Thanks for the pointer Michael. MuseScore 1.2 and 2.0 will export and import volume and pan.
