Provide a drop down list of open tabs

It can get a bit awkward to find a file that's already open, if there are a lot of them (more tabs than can fit on the screen horizontally). Scrolling horizontally to find one becomes a bit unwieldy once there are more than a certain number open - especially if you're in the habit of using long, descriptive file names, like I am.

What I'd like is a drop down list of open tabs, in addition to the scrolling mechanism that's there now - e.g. accessed by a small button on the right hand end of the tab bar, after the two arrow buttons, similar to the one in Firefox or the old version of Foxit Reader I use (3.x, I think - I gave up on more recent versions, so I don't know if they still do that).

No matter how long the file names are, a vertical list can easily show two or three dozen open tabs - which should be enough for almost anyone. It would also let us switch instantly between tabs, instead of having to scroll through to find the right one.

I don't see this in Firefox, but it is in Opera. It's a good idea. Could you file this in the tracker, as well? Feature request for version 3.0-dev.

Both (related feature requests) now posted in the issue tracker. Thanks.

I use a couple of extensions / add-ons to Firefox, which might be relevant to seeing that button - Classic Theme Restorer and BarTab Lite X, though I think it's more likely to be the first one, if it's not a current standard feature.

Also, you can add buttons to the tab bar by right clicking on some of the exiting buttons (e.g. the scroll right arrow or the "Open a new tab" [+] button) and choosing "Customize...". Maybe I added it a while ago, and forgot. If I hover the mouse over that button it says "List all tabs". The same happens in Foxit Reader 3.1.
