tremolo for bowed strings (violins etc)
Could you tell me how to create a tremolo as illustrated in the attachment.
The time is 3/4, so I have to place 2 dotted minims in the same bar, with the tremolo sign in between.

Enter 2 dotted quarter (Crotchet) notes, select the first one and double click the 3 lines tremolo sign in the tremolo palette.

I'm not a string player myself, so not use to 'tremols'. Your instruction clarified the manual for me (I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes!)
