Cue Notes

• Dec 31, 2016 - 19:39

In a previous version (several years back), I was able to right-click on a note head and convert the note to a tiny cue note. I could even select a series of notes and do the conversion to cue notes. Where is this now?

For the record, you did have the Inspector when you first installed MuseScore, but probably you closed it at some point not realizing how useful it would turn out to be :-). I normally close it during initial note input, then open it and leave it up when doing further tweaking.

You don't "need" to. But depending on what these cue notes are supposed to represent, there's a good chance you don't want to hear them on playback (most often, cue notes are used to indicate notes being played by *another* instrument and shouldn't be played by this one). If you *do* want to hear these played back, then by all means leave the Play property alone.
