Filing an issue that applies to both 2.1 and 3.0 nightlies

What do people think about having an additional option when filing an issue (alongside the individual ‘2.1-dev’ and ‘3.0-dev’): ‘2.1+3.0-dev’

Perhaps what is needed is a checkable list of affected versions, and a separate status for each.

Maybe something along these lines...

Affected versions (status)
--------------------------
3.0 (active)
2.1 (active)

And then once the patch is approved...

Affected versions (status)
--------------------------
3.0 (fixed)
2.1 (closed - fix not backwards compatible)

There will not be any further development on the issue tracker.
Fill free to file the issue with lowest version where you can reproduce.
