Should Page/Continuous View be exported in MusicXML?

When I exported a MusicXML of a score when in Continuous View, and opened it in both Harmony Assistant 9.6.2 and Finale NotePad 2012r1, the score appeared with the Continuous View preserved, causing the elements to venture off the page that is provided by default. However, when importing into MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (5492), it appeared in Page View.

What do you think should happen?

I think of continuous view as just a temporary thing for screen display, like zooming. I expect export to honor the page formatting regardless of which mode I am in or what zoom level I am at.
