3 Delete second measure (CTRL DEL)
4. Formatting/note values in subsequent measures change.
5 Select a note in bad format area
6. Up/down arrow returns formatting to normal
7. Save

10. Formatting is still bad

Update:
Bad formatting currupts other/new music.
1. After doing the above
2. Create new music
3. Snare
4. 4 measures> finish
5. Click Style> General> System> "fix measures/ system=2> Fix measure width > ok
6. Enter four measures of 8th notes
7. Save
8. Close
9. Open
10. Formatting of 8th notes in measures 3 and 4 has changed to:
NOT FOUND: 1
I don't find any bad layout in 3.5. Assuming the problem has been fixed.
