Adding soundfont to score with parts

I think I'd first want to see a more general discussion of how linked parts are going to be handled in terms of what sort of changes you can apply to the parts separately from the score, and how that is going to be achieved. I say this because one possible implementation - similar to how other programs I have used work - would be to say that any changes made in the score would affect both score and part by default but that changes made while viewing a part would only apply to the part by default. At least to the extent possible - actually adding or removing notes or other visible elements would probably always affect both.

If this is the sort of overall model being planned, then I think a soundfont change while editing a part would be no different from, say, moving a dynamic marking or adding a line break, and these are definitely the sorts of things I expect to be able to control independently for the parts versus the score.
