When creating ossia (a few bars), it would be useful to have the "small staff" and the "measure visible/invisible" functions in the same place.
As it is now, I have a one bar ossia and when I "hide empty staves" there are still 3 bars of rests showing. I have to go to measure properties to hide them (one at a time).
It would also be useful to select more than one measure if one wants to apply a change to consecutive measures.

You;ll be happy to hear, then, that in 3.0 there will be no more need to mark measures invisible. There will be a new "cutaway" property for staves (same dialog as "small") that basically marks all empty measures invisible automatically.
