abc import error
I have used the abc import plug-in successfully several times, but have just come across a file that will not import, the error message I get is;
I don't know if this is a MuseScore problem or there is a mistake in the file, however the abc file does display correctly in Harmony Assistant and on the web converter http://www.folkinfo.org/songs/abcconvert.php
I want to follow this up partly as it may be a bug in the abc import plug-in, but also as it will help me understand how abc files work and how to correct possible errors within them
the abc file in question is;

Same issue as #15898: Plugin crashes when importing abc file generated by TablEdit?

Sounds very much like it.

looks like this could be the same issue, I got my abc file from a folk tune web site, so I don't know how it was generated, I have tried tweaking the abc file and actually placed the last repeat phrase at the beginning of the piece, but still get exactly the same error message
this seems to indicate that it is the plug-in and not the abc file, I cannot see anything odd about the file, after all it is only a text file!

The converter is not happy with the line

Not sure why. The converter is open source btw. The plugin calls http://abc2xml.appspot.com/ A webservice powered by http://code.google.com/p/abc4j/

knocking out the F:etc line did enable a 'sort of' successful import, but with some interesting note stem arrangements (see attached file)!!

this was easily corrected with the beaming tool, though....
