error reading file
Hello, I have encountered a bug and the software didn't want to quit.
I have rebooted my computer but it is now impossible to reopen the last file.
I have change the ".mscz" by ".mscx" and it gives me an error message :" error reading file C:/...mscz at line 1 column 1: error occurred while parsing element"
It is very annoying because I have worked a lot.
When I open the initial file all the notes are disappeared. There is nothing on the screen except the background.
Anyone have an idea to solve the problem?

renaming file>.mscz to file.mscx ain't going to magically change its format, so that won't work.
Probably your file got corrupt.
Try to locate .file.mscz, the latest backup MuseScore created for you.
The MSCZ file is just a ZIP archive, so you can open it in any program that deals with that format (I use 7-Zip) and extract the MSCX within it. It is *possible* that opening the latter in a text editor might prove enlightening.
