Stretching question

Changing the layout for Add More or Less Stretch works fine for a given selected measure.

Does this feature also exist for a given selected pair of successive notes ?

Two long chord names at the beginning of a measure makes me stretch more the measure. But the remaining of the measure (even without chords) is too large. I want to be able to move the position of each note as I want. Is this possible ?

Is there a way to just drag a given note where I want (in a given measure) ?

To add more spacebetween individual notes other than by the usual method simply stretching the whole measure (which preserve regular typographic spacing), you can right click a note, Note Properties, and add extra leading or trailing space. Ordinarily, though, I wouldn't recommend doing this to just space out chordnames, as it can definitely create an awkward look. If you look at published fakebook and so for, they virtually never do this. Instead, you are usually better off increasing stretch as much as you think you can without looking bad, then adjust the chordnames themselves. For instance, double click the first and right arrow it over a notch or two, then double click the second and left arrow it a notch or two. Also consider how much detail you really need in a chord that lasts only a beat - if they are running into each other because of a long list of altertions, perhaps simplifying would make sense.
