Shift+Click = Crash
While holding Shift, then clicking and dragging, produces a crash every time.
... not exactly sure why I was doing this, but it's consistent enough to report.
Originally, I was trying to select a chord to copy.
What happens is a program crash -- here is the error code info, if this helps (vista):

What are you shift+click+dragging? Where are you dragging it from and to? Does this only happen with a certain score? Please give more details.
I tried Shift+Click+Dragging several items but did not experience a crash using r.1833, Windows XP
I reproduced the crash with r1833 on Win Vista
- start MuseScore (the demo score opened automatically)
- press shift + click on any empty spot + drag

Confirmed crash when shift + click + drag on an empty part of the page. I don't get a crash if I shift + click on a note, chord, or dynamic marking.
Regarding the shift + click on a note: I can reproduce the crash only right after musescore has started. So, don't click anything else after it started and try to reproduce it.
I can confirm that the crash was produced with multiple scores - including a blank score. Also can confirm that shift+clicking a note or other specific object will not cause the app crash. Does it seem specific to vista? Hope this helps and thanks again!

Sorry, I need to take back my previous comment:
- in r1869 the shift + click + drag crash is fixed
- but I still have the shift + click crash
Steps:
- start musescore
- Bilder einer Austellung demo score opens by default
- shift + click on any note causes crash
Same on ubuntu with r1869. gdb hesitates between canvas::paint and element::tick :)
fixed in rev. 1888
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
