Timpani sometimes emits clicking noises with ToH soundfont on 2.1

• May 5, 2017 - 19:00

Running Musescore 2.1, the timpani sound in the Timbres of Heaven 3.4 soundfont sometimes emits sharp clicking sounds. This didn't happen before 2.1 and it's only the timpani which is affected, so I found that a bit weird. I tried removing and adding the rest of the soundfonts I used for the score but the clicking didn't stop (also reinstalled the old fluid soundfont but that didn't work either). Is this a bug on Musescore's end or the soundfont's end? How can I fix it?

In my score, there's 6 F horns, a drumset and the timpani. The attached is a part of the score (bars 175-186). However on this score, the sound only comes in around 5 bars in for me. In the actual score, it happens on the 7th beat of the first bar. It doesn't only happen here, it happens throughout the score.

The score is run with these soundfonts in order:
- SJO French Horn
- Timbres of Heaven 3.4
- The older FluidR3 soundfont

(all the horns are on the "French Horns" sound, the drumset on Don's Std Kit, and the timpani on timpani)
